International PR

As a growing successful SME, all-in-one navigation app savvy navvy had focused on marketing, but not done much PR. We initially worked with them on a one-off app feature story, which gained them coverage in more than five countries. Since then, Isabel has implemented global PR strategy and media work with hundreds of pieces of coverage. IJ Communications today runs their PR function.

Communications project support
​
When three GP surgeries in the UK were looking to merge, they were looking for a resource to run the communications side of the project. They knew some challenges would lie ahead and they needed expertise to ensure they had consulted with stakeholders. Isabel and her associates worked with the team from stakeholder management and strategy, to messaging and implementation. As the project developed, there became an increasing need for crisis communications.

Launching their drinks business during COVID lockdown, entrepreneurial couple Jane and David Charnley wanted to use PR to showcase their launch and elevate the sales they’d mainly achieved through social media. As a result, we achieved local, regional and B2B coverage – also implementing a strategy setting up the business to continue the work on their own in-house.

Training
​
One Ramboll Group department wanted to raise their profile internally about the work they do to get more visibility and get more commissions on their expertise. As part of a study day in London, their Copenhagen office team had a bespoke session on the importance steps they could take to being able to do so. The outcome was the start of a communications approach for them to progress in-house.
“Isabel's training session with our team was very informative and she made sure that everybody understood the topic. In just one hour she managed to get all 18 of us involved and gave us key learnings from within the field. She repeated these throughout the session and I got an insight into the most important parts of communications, which I now understand and can combine with some of our previous work.

Professional development

Providing mentoring support in different ways over the years, Isabel has been commissioned by in-house teams to upskill team members on a 1-1 basis rather than sending them on larger courses.

Wanting to give back to other business owners, Isabel also works with a business programme and gives lectures in the area supporting start-ups through growth and their business journey.
